Jean Michael Seri files criminal complaint for fraud against Nice over Fulham move

Jean Michael Seri has registered a criminal complaint of fraud against Fine about his transfer.
Seri, who is currently on loan in Galatasaray, joined the Craven Cottage club along with Maxime Le Marchand for a fee of around $25m.
The breakdown of the fee given in the time – based on Seri’s lawyers was $12m for Seri and much more than $12.6m for Le Marchand.
On the other hand, the midfielder claims the Ligue 1 club beating him in order to avoid paying him a”transfer superior” incentive and says he is owed at least $700,000, while hinting that a few of his previous clubs would also qualify for compensation due to several sell-on clauses plus also a FIFA solidarity tax, which would take the amount to more than $1m.
His attorneys claim that, according to a report by the International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) Football Observatory, if Fulham paid almost $25m for the 2 players then $18.7m could”correspond to the transfer value of Mr Seri” with another $6m to Le Marchand’s.
A statement from his lawyers said:”In accordance with this data available to Mr Seri, establishing a’double transfer’ into Fulham FC OGC Nice was so able to grossly underestimate the amount of transfer brought on by Fulham FC with regard to Mr Seri and – correlatively – grossly overestimate the transfer amount about Mr Le Marchand.
“At the conclusion, Fulham would have paid an amount of $12m for Mr Seri… and more than $12.6m for Mr Le Marchand. For it is obvious that these numbers are very strange.
“To illustrate the value that these two players represent in the view of both Fulham FC, it is enough to point out the salary awarded to Mr Seri is approximately 3 times greater than that allowed to Mr Le Marchand.”
This claim has been denied by nice and Sky Sports News have contacted Fulham for a reply.
Ineos now owns the team, the energy group run last month, by billionaire Jim Ratcliffe, who finished a takeover.
Seri’s statement included:”Mr Seri expects that Ineos, that did not own OGC Nice in the time of the events, will be eager to shed full light on this issue very fast.”
