Gil Dudson along with Lee Mossop came back to haunt former club Wigan Warriors since Salford Red Devils sealed a maiden Super League Grand Final look using a 28-4 win.
Two penalties from Krisnan Inu edged Salford on in Fridays semi-final at the DW Stadium, followed closely by prop Dudson for the opening attempt to set them in the 38, forcing his way around.
A punishment in Inu watched that the traffic lead, although from adding to the try tally on two times some defence refused Jake Bibby.
The guy nicknamedThe Iceman proceeded to complete the match with a perfect record of eight goals from eight attempts, although further attempts from Joey Lussick along with the other prior Cherry and Whites man, Mossop, after the break closed Salfords location at Old Trafford next Saturday, where they will face St Helens.
