Yannick Bolasie rejected CSKA Moscow transfer over racism fears

Yannick Bolasie turned down to CSKA Moscow more dread of racist abuse whilst playing in Russia.

In a tweet, the 30-year-old Democratic Republic of Congo global suggested he had turned down the deal due to the treatment received by Brazilian winger Malcom, whose move into Zenit Saint Petersburg last month has been greeted by banners which read:’the lack of black players is a significant convention’.
