Make yourself ready and be prepared to do things and say things you’ve never done before. If you’re not seriously committed, not much of this is going to help you get a girlfriend. T his rule is here because, and this is coming from my real experiences as a nice guy, we tend to judge couples all too often when we feel like we can not get a girlfriend. Taking responsibility in part means to stop placing blame on others.
At the end of the day, it’s about having someone who you enjoy spending time with, and who challenges you. If you’re with someone who’s just like you, you’ll stay the same forever and thats boring af. Now I’m not saying you need to go out and tell a girl you’re attracted to her (although that does work when said in the right tone, see our article on how to tell a girl you like her), but instead don’t play it safe.
Know you’ve got plenty more practice coming if you’re doing everything else right. Not every guy who is interested in a girl who isn’t interested in him is stuck in the friend zone. Many just need to get closer to the girl they’re interested in.
Women want to see that you have potential, drive, and purpose. They don’t want a dude who’s going through the motions of life with no control or plan. Any random schmuck with some game can bring home a high quality girl on any given night. But keeping her around for the long-term is a different story (that’s why so many guys are left scratching their heads when wondering how to get a girlfriend).
Join a sports club or book club, whatever club it is that you’re interested in—join it. #1 Are you ready? It really starts with you.

Going to a university is a big change in a person’s life. At a university, you have the freedom to go where you please and create your own schedule without anyone telling you what to do.
That guy will not have a girlfriend at the end of the day. So, be attentive and listen. If you can’t handle hearing this girl talk, then she’s probably not a good match for you anyway. #7 Ask her on a date. If you’ve found a girl you’re interested in pursuing, pursue her!
When you’re too available and text her back immediately every time it’ll make her think you have nothing else going on in your life. When you make your move don’t force it, let it happen when there’s a brief pause in the conversation and you’re both gazing into each others eyes. Have high expectations.
People get nervous before dates because they don’t know what to expect. They think that maybe it will be difficult to get along with someone from a different upbringing or culture – but that’s rubbish. The way to link with someone is through emotions. Everybody has feelings and emotions – that’s something you know you’ll have in common. Try to connect using those as a basis, and you will almost always find common ground.
Take the High Road
People often wonder how to get to this stage. They have what I call a “town mindset” – that sense of comfort only a big fish in a little pond can feel. However, to accrue social value, you need to value your time over your money. Not placing yourself in upmarket areas around elite people can cost you more in the long term on a business level. Similarly, you need to spend time with beautiful, intelligent, top-notch women to learn what attracts them.
